Experiences

Situated approximately twenty kilometers south of Dubrovnik, Cavtat serves as an idyllic coastal escape with a much slower pace of life. Built on the ancient Greek settlement of Epidaurum, the town wraps around two lush, pine-fringed bays connected by an easy waterfront walking path. Visitors can admire upscale yachts moored along the palm-lined promenade while dining on fresh seafood at family-owned konobas.

Cavtat is also celebrated for its cultural heritage, being the birthplace of renowned Croatian painter Vlaho Bukovac, whose family home is now an engaging art museum. At the crest of the Rat peninsula, the white stone Račić Family Mausoleum, sculpted by Ivan Meštrović, offers panoramic views stretching across the bay toward the distant outlines of Dubrovnik.
