Experiences

Situated roughly an hour south of Playa del Carmen on the mainland, Tulum represents the bohemian soul of the Mexican Caribbean. Its most iconic landmark is the ancient walled Mayan city perched high atop limestone cliffs overlooking the turquoise surf, creating one of the most photographed vistas in the Americas.

Beyond its archaeological treasures, Tulum is defined by two distinct areas: the laid-back inland town (pueblo) and the eco-chic beach strip (zona hotelera). Shaded by tropical canopy, the beach road is lined with open-air wellness retreats, candlelit dining concepts, and stylish boutiques. Nature lovers will also find easy access to the sprawling Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve and an intricate underground network of freshwater cenotes perfect for cool, secluded swims.
