Tourlos cruise dock (or tender at the old port)

Not every call is the same: large ships dock at the new port of Tourlos, 2.5 km from Chora, while others tender near the old port. From Tourlos the SeaBus crosses to Chora in about 12 min for 2–2.50 EUR, running every 15–30 min.

💡 If you dock at Tourlos, the SeaBus is usually faster and easier than the bus or a taxi
💡 Note the last SeaBus time: frequency drops in the afternoon

Golden-sand beach with calm water, 10 min by bus from Chora and very close to Tourlos, ideal for a swim without straying too far from the ship. Alternatives: busier Psarou and Platis Gialos.

💡 Good for the last stretch: it is on the way back to Tourlos
💡 Bring water and sunscreen; there is little shade outside the sunbeds

Taxis are hard to find in the afternoon: return early or pre-book the ride
